President & Event Director

Dr. Greg developed and founded the Wrightwood Blues Society along with co-founders Sandy Jones, Dave Leicht, Gail Mauler, and Diana Piles. Greg is a Communication Studies Professor (retired), piano player, vocalist and composer.

 Sandy is one of the founding board members and producers of all live events.
​Sandy has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 25 years. Presently, she is a Child Development and Education  Professor. 

         
​Suzi McKinney

                              Volunteer Coordinator
​​                    Retired Dental Hygienist from the           University of Southern California.  Suzi is a member and one of the owners of Wrightwood Love Roots Yoga Shala. In addition, she is an  Yoga Instructor for Love Roots Yoga Shala in Wrightwood

    PAUL MCKINNEY

                              Vice President 

Retired from State Farm insurance in 2018 after 20 years of service.  He and his wife  Suzi   moved to  Wrightwood in 2019. Paul has always had a great love of music..

JOHN MARK ​     VEAZEY

                       Production 
John Mark Veazey has lived in Wrightwood since 2007.   He is married to Amy Leiss-Veazey.  They have 5 children and 5 grandchildren between them.
John Mark has worked in the contact center industry since 1978.  He also has been singing and songwriting since 1982.    His work is available for other artists, TV, film, advertising, other media, and other work-for-hire. 

Dr. Mark Stafford

                       Major Happenings
In addition to WBS enthusiasm,
Dr Mark Stafford enjoys a conservation background with two Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Biology and Environmental Studies. He received his Doctorate in Dentistry from UCLA. His passion for conservation led Mark, and his wife Marie, to found Parrots International, a 20 year non profit organization dedicated to the research and conservation of endangered parrot species throughout the world.
